Ty Storey Nominated For All-American Bowl
Charleston quarterback Ty Storey was nominated to play in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The senior-to-be led the Tigers to the 3A State Championship. As a junior, he threw for 4,230 yards and 53 touchdowns as Charleston rolled to an undefeated season. Storey, who orally committed to Arkansas before the season, was named the Times Record Offensive Player of the Year and has won numerous awards throughout his career.
Other Arkansans nominated are Jamario Bell (defensive line, Junction City), Will Gragg (tight end, Pine Bluff) and C.J. O’Grady (tight end, Fayetteville).
The All-American Bowl will be played Jan. 3, 2015, in San Antonio and televised nationally by NBC.
