Robert “Bob” Pierce

Robert “Bob” Marvin Pierce, 68, of Charleston formerly of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, August 4, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 10, 1946 in Panama City, Florida to Herbert and Thelma Talmedge Pierce.

He was the owner of Bonneville Motors and was affectionately known as “Booneville Bob”. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed flying his plane and hunting and fishing.

Funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Pierce of Pinellas Park, Florida; stepdaughters, Cindy Parnell of Booneville, Amy Tillery of Pensacola, Florida, Kelly Scott and Becky Brasher both of Booneville; sons, Ernest Valdez of Wenatchee, Washingtoon and Robert Pierce Jr. of Booneville; sisters, Annette Amburn of Newport News, Virginia and Carolyn Roddem of Lynn Haven, Florida; brother, Lonnie Pierce of Lynn Haven, Florida; stepmother, Martha Pierce of Panama City, Florida; nephews, Steven Pierce, Michael Pierce, Kenneth Pierce, Billy Pierce, and Jeffery Pierce; twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers were Bobby, Billy, Kenny, Michael, Jeff Pierce, Ernie Valdez and Keith Glass.
