Naomi Ray

Naomi B. Ray, 83, of Booneville passed from this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born November 9, 1930 in Kirby, Arkansas, to Onis and Lenora (Pasley) Boyd.

She was retired from the Booneville Human Development Center, where she spent her career in residential Care. She was a member of the Reville Primitive Baptist Church near Magazine, Arkansas.

She enjoyed going to church and reading the Bible, spending time and loving on her family, needle point and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents before mentioned and five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Reville Primitive Baptist Church near magazine, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of sixty six years, Ollie Fay Ray of the home; one daughter, Lenora Sue Beason and husband Will of Booneville; three sons, Michael Fay Ray and wife Sherry of Booneville; Dr. Ricky Don Ray and wife Leslie of Booneville; Bruce Allen Ray and wife Lucy of Booneville; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers were Adam Beason, Andy Daniel, Jesse Green, Lee Green, Glen Holt, Jeremy Kengla, Allen Ray, James Ray, Michael Paul Ray, and Chris Rittelmeyer.
