James Lairamore

James Michael Lairamore, 58, of Pocola, OK, died Monday, March 17, 2014 in Pocola. He was born January 3, 1956 in Fort Smith, AR to Sidney Milford Lairamore & Betty Jean Bull Lairamore. He was a US Army Veteran, a certified Mechanic and enjoyed being at Tri State Speedway in Pocola, Ok and attended the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Charles Odell Bull and Willie Mondella Cook Bull. Mike was a friend to everyone he met. He never met a person who didn’t immediately feel comfortable being around him. Young and old and especially young and the young at heart loved Mike and his love of like. He made everyone feel like he was their long lost friend.

Graveside service was at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at Morris Cemetery in Bloomer, AR, under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston, Ar.

He is survived by his wife Koni Lairamore, four sons Josh Maden, Jeremy, Kris and Joseph Lairamore, one sister Tanya Latimore Pitchford of Pocola, OK, one step-sister Pamela Fulbright of Oklahoma City, OK, two brothers Ronnie Lairamore of Hinesville, GA, Greg Harmon, Pocola, OK, one step-brother Richard Morrow of Lake Eufala, OK and last surviving maternal aunt, Peggy Hunter of Charleston, Ar.

Pall Bearers were Greg Harmon, Al Gipson, Vic Gates, Ryan Harmon, Blake Pitchford and Gary Hunter.
