State Tournament In Charleston Huge Success

The 3A State Basketball Tournament in Charleston finally came to a close last Tuesday. It was a fantastic experience and it was a complete TEAM effort. It has been my pleasure to serve the Charleston School District & Charleston Community as the 3A State Tournament Director. I could not have done it without the assistance of many staff members, volunteers, local businesses, and the support of our entire community. I hope I have represented our school & community admirably and I have tried to put on the best tournament possible. I have received several compliments from the Arkansas Activities Association, Arkansas Officials Association, competing schools administrators, coaches, players, & fans attending the tournament here in Charleston. With that being said, I would like to recognize the members of my staff that have given their time & effort to assist me this week. Thank you all very much for your support & contributions!! Also a huge Thank You to the hundreds of volunteers, that have helped make this event successful.
