Summer Reading has began kids, teens and tweens. Come see magicians, mad scientists and more during our “Fizz, Boom, Read” program. This summer’s theme is science and we’ll have a blast with lots of experiments. Plus sign your child up for Summer Reading and they’ll get a free book bag with treats while supplies last. Kids can earn fabulous prizes just by reading this summer. Children must be signed up for the program by an adult.

Visit our Story Laboratory for Storytime on Wednesday’s at 10 a.m. beginning June 11. We’ll be dancing, reading and creating exciting science experiments.

Plus, on June 12, we add a little magic to our summer reading. Be mystified by the amazing Tommy Terrific on June 12. The magic show begins at 10 a.m.

Be sure to stop by the Charleston Public Library at 12 South School Street for a full calendar of events.

The Summer Reading Program and June events are all FREE.
