Lavaca High School To Host College/Career Night

Lavaca High School will host a first annual College/Career Night on October 29, 2013 from 6 to 8pm. The event will be held in the Lavaca Student Union beginning at 6:00pm. Colleges, technical schools, military representatives, and local businesses will be available to provide students and parents with information and answer questions about their respective programs and campuses.

Informational seminars will include Preparing for College with a Financial Aid Emphasis and Registering for the ACT. Charlotte Douglas, State Representative will be in attendance and speaking to the students and parents. A meal will be provided and door prizes will be awarded.

There will be approximately 15 representatives available to visit with guests including University of Arkansas Fayetteville, University of Arkansas Fort Smith, University of the Ozarks Clarksville, Arkansas Tech University Russellville, Arkansas Tech University Ozark, University of Central Arkansas Conway, Army, Marines, Air Force, Air National Guard, and First National Bank of Lavaca.
