County Line High School 2014 Honor Graduates

Trent Gattis, Maranda Watson and Marina Gonzales-Irvin were named the top three graduates of the 2014 County Line graduating class. All three gave speeches during graduation ceremonies that were held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 7pm in the County Line Auditorium.

Trent Gattis –Co Valedictorian, is the son of Taylor and Erin Gattis. He plans on attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He has been awarded the Shelter Insurance Scholarship worth $2,000, Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship worth $14,000 over 4 years to the college of his choice, Kings’s College Presidential Scholarship worth $70,000 over 4 years, Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship worth $40,000 over 4 years, University of Central Arkansas Distinguished Scholarship worth $34,000 over 4 years, University of Arkansas Fayetteville Chancellor’s Scholarship worth $20,000 over 4 years, Matthew Holt Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000, Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church Scholarship worth $350.

Maranda Watson-Co Valedictorian is the daughter of Randy and Joan Watson. She plans on attending the College of the Ozarks in Clarksville. She has been awarded the First Western Bank Scholarship worth $1,000, Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship worth $14,000 over 4 years to the college of her choice, Larry McCain Memorial Scholarship worth $2500, County Line Beta Club Scholarship worth $250, Presidential Scholarship to University of the Ozarks worth $68,000 over 4 years and the Farm Bureau Scholarship worth $500.

Marina Gonzalez-Irvin-Salutatorian is the daughter of Melone Gonzalez. She plans to attend the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. She has been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship from University of Ozarks worth $58,000 over 4 years.
