Annual Charity Car Show April 27

Charleston Cruisers, Inc. is hosting its Annual Charity Car Show April 27 in conjunction with the Charleston Springfest. Registration will take place from 8am to 11am at the Fairgrounds in Charleston. The cost is $20 per vehicle or pre-register by April 20 for $15 per vehicle.

Judging will begin at Noon using the 100 point system and independent judges. First Place Trophies will be awarded in 24 classes, plus $100 for overall Best of Show. All car show entries will be eligible for some great door prizes to be awarded throughout the day.

Channel 5’s Ashley Beck and Franklin County Sheriff Anthony Boen will also award trophies in 4 special categories.

This year’s Charity Car Show will also involve a swap meet. If you have a car or car related parts and accessories, that you would like to sell at this year’s show let us know. A small donation of $20.00 is required to sell items at the swap meet.

There will also be a raffle for some great prizes including: $125 Cash, 4 Tickets to the see the Arkansas Naturals, 1 free flying lesson from Southern Eagle Aviation, and a Radio Controlled Helicopter from GS Hobby. You need not be present to win, so be sure to purchase your raffle tickets while you’re enjoying Springfest.

Proceeds from this year’s Charity Car Show will benefit Project Graduation, Charleston Ministerial Alliance and the Gregory Kistler Treatment Center.
